Democratic Party President Judith Kabemba said the nomination process was transparent.
Meanwhile, New Nation Party Leader Nevers Mumba stated that the development trajectory President Hichilema has started must continue.
UPND Alliance Partner Charles Milupi called on all UPND supporters to come out in numbers and vote for President Hichilema on August 13, 2026.
University of Zambia Students Union President Mwanto Kabaso said students have endorsed President Hichilema’s candidature.
Student Union representatives from various other higher learning institutions also spoke at the event.
