The 3,205 health workers recruited on April 13, 2026, have begun collecting their appointment letters.
One of the new recruits, Audrey Khondowe, expressed gratitude to government for the opportunity to serve, noting that she has been volunteering at Kanyama Level One Hospital since 2019 and has now been posted to Gwembe District.
Another beneficiary, Carol Mwamba, thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for promoting inclusivity in government recruitment.
According to the Civil Service Commission, successful candidates will collect their appointment letters between April 20 and April 30, and are expected to report for duty by June 1, 2026.
