Trump says US military will guide stranded ships out of Strait of Hormuz on Monday

BBC- Donald Trump says the US military will guide stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, starting “Monday morning, Middle East time”.
Some 20,000 seafarers and 2,000 ships have been unable to leave the strait since the US-Iran war began, the head of the International Maritime Organization said last week.
Trump says “Project Freedom” is a “humanitarian gesture”, saying “many of the ships are running low on food.”
He says ships that will be helped are “from areas of the world that are not in any way involved” with the war – read his announcement in full.
The US military says “guided-missile destroyers, over 100 land and sea-based aircraft… and 15,000 service members” will be involved in the operation.
