Health Minister Alex Katakwe says the government will distribute the assets to primary health care facilities in districts with the weakest access infrastructure.

Dr Katakwe says the handover of the equipment is also in line with the government’s agenda on children’s immunization in the medium term.

Dr Katakwe said this in Lusaka today when he received 216 motorbikes, 10 motor vehicles, 229 laptop computers and 100 tablets from WHO .

And World Health Organization-WHO Country Representative Dr. Peter Lasuba said WHO is committed to working with the government of Zambia to improve the health and well-being of the people of Zambia.
