Over 10 corporate entities participated in the 2025 Saint Ignatius College golf tournament, raising over 500,000 Kwacha toward the 1 million Kwacha target needed to build a football pitch at the college.
Team Jacques and Partners emerged winners of the tournament with 106 points.
Ngowani Makasa, a member of the winning team, described the competition as stiff but said they managed to pull through.
College Principal Mary Bishonga explained that golf was chosen as the fundraising venture because it promotes a healthy lifestyle while enabling participants to network.
