HH Orders Immediate Recruitment of Volunteer Health Workers

President Hakainde Hichilema has directed the immediate recruitment of all volunteer medical staff in Mporokoso District.
President Hichilema says the volunteer health workers will be employed in recognition of their selfless dedication and commitment to serving the community.
He says the list of volunteer health workers presented to him will be acted upon without delay.
The President also says works on the Mporokoso-Kawambwa Road and the Mporokoso-Kaputa-Mununga Road will be undertaken once re-elected.
Speaking during a public engagement at Bulangililo Grounds in Mporokoso District, President Hichilema said the road projects are aimed at improving connectivity and facilitating the movement of people, goods and essential services.
President Hichilema said Mporokoso has benefited from a wide range of Government development programmes, including the Constituency Development Fund -CDF-, the Social Cash Transfer Programme and the Free Education Policy.
He says development is being implemented equitably across all parts of the country.
The President further announced that Government will increase the allocation of farming inputs, including fertiliser, under the Farmer Input Support Programme -FISP-
President Hichilema said 2.5 million children have returned to school under the Free Education Policy, among them more than 4,000 learners in Mporokoso District.
The President also appealed to young people who are yet to secure employment not to lose hope, saying more employment opportunities will be created once he is re-elected.
He urged the people of Mporokoso to vote for the UPND in the August 13 General Election to ensure the continuation of the Government’s development agenda.
The community engagement was attended by Chief Muporokoso of Mporokoso District.
