The printing of ballot papers for the 2026 General Election has been completed.

Electoral Commission of Zambia –ECZ- Commissioner NDIYOYI MUTITI announced the development while briefing stakeholders in Dubai who have been monitoring the ballot printing process.

Ms. MUTTI said ballot papers for eight National Assembly constituencies were not printed because the candidates were elected unopposed.

She said ballot papers for Lumezi North Constituency were also not printed following the death of National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity –NRPUP- candidate MOSES MWALE.

Ms. MUTTI said the Commission will provide further guidance on the Lumezi North parliamentary seat at a later date.

Meanwhile, Al Ghurair Printing Company General Manager LAKSHMANAN GANAPATHY said six aircraft have been chartered to transport the ballot papers to Zambia.

Mr. GANAPATHY said the first aircraft is scheduled to leave Dubai for Lusaka on Sunday, 26th July, carrying 79 pallets of ballot papers for about 56 constituencies.

He said one aircraft will depart Dubai for Lusaka each day until all the ballot papers have been delivered to Zambia.
