The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced the latest presidential results from 70 constituencies out of 226, showing President Hakainde Hichilema maintaining his lead.
ECZ Chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis revealed that President Hichilema has so far polled 626,434 votes, while his closest rival, Brian Mundubile, has garnered 505,795 votes.
Ms. Zaloumis said the Commission will issue its next update at 14:30 hours this afternoon.
