Zambia’s Under‑20 national team will join other COSAFA sides in battling for a ticket to the Ghana 2027 Under‑20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The COSAFA Zone qualifiers will be hosted by Mauritius from 18th to 27th September, with the top teams securing qualification to the continental tournament.
Zambia has been drawn in Group C alongside Malawi, Comoros, and Botswana.
The junior Chipolopolo featured at the 2025 AFCON but exited at the group stage. The last time Zambia made continental waves at Under‑20 level was in 2017, when they were crowned champions under Beston Chambeshi.
