Zambia Under‑20 Men’s Coach Perry Mutapa says the team’s preparations ahead of the 2026 COSAFA Championship are progressing well.
Mutapa noted that the squad is taking shape, as assessed from the friendly fixtures played so far. He was speaking after the team’s 1‑0 loss to National Division One side Atletico Lusaka at the NAPSA Sports Complex.
Meanwhile, Zambia U20 winger Kayula Chinunda, who plays for Mpande Youth Academy in Kasama, said he aspires to emulate past players who made history by winning the U20 AFCON and qualifying for the World Cup.
The 2026 COSAFA Men’s Under‑20 Championship will run from September 18 to 27 in Mozambique.
