JJ BANDA DETAINED
Police in LUSAKA have detained Petauke Central Member of Parliament , EMMANUEL BANDA.
This was after Mr. BANDA was discharged from Maina Soko Medical Centre this morning, where he was admitted for treatment.
Police Spokesperson, RAE HAMOONGA says Mr BANDA is currently in police custody.
In a statement, Mr HAMOONGA said after receiving the necessary medical care and being deemed fit for discharge by medical professionals, Mr BANDA was released from the medical centre and taken into police custody.
He said police are committed to ensuring a thorough and transparent investigation.
