By Mark Ziligone
Eighteen Ambulances have been delivered bringing the number to 47 out of the 156 procured under the Constituency Development Fund -CDF.
Local Government Permanent Secretary, NICHOLAS PHIRI says the remaining 109 Ambulances will be in the country before the end of May this year.
Mr. PHIRI has directed for the immediate distribution of the ambulances to their respective constituencies.
Speaking when he received the third consignment, the Permanent Secretary warned that no one will be allowed to create any delay in the distribution process.
Mr. PHIRI further warned that anyone found deliberately derailing the process will be dealt with administratively.
Meanwhile Zimba council chairperson LOVENESS CHIGORA said the ambulances will alleviate the challenges that most health facilities face in ferrying patients.
