Kabika flags off GBV road show

Government has called for collaboration in the fight against gender based violence -GBV.

Permanent Secretary for Gender Division in the office of the Vice President MAINGA KABIKA says the fight against gender based violence is one which requires stakeholder collaboration.

Speaking during the flag off of the 16 days of activism against gender based violence road show in Lusaka today, Ms. KABIKA said the activism which started yesterday is aimed at reaching many communities.

She said the 16 days of activism has targeted local communities because people in those areas have little or no knowledge about GBV but experience it at a higher rate.

Ms. KABIKA has urged church mother bodies, schools among other stakeholders to join in the fight against gender based violence.
