3 die in road accident
Three people have died in an accident involving three vehicles on the Great North Road in Chisamba, Central Province.
The accident, which involved a Sino truck, a Benz truck, and a Toyota Wish vehicle, occurred yesterday around 13:00 near Banani International School.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased include the driver of the Benz truck, identified as Kelvin Banda, aged 32.
The other deceased, an adult male and female, were passengers in the Benz truck.
Mr. Hamoonga explained that the accident occurred when the driver of the Benz light truck failed to keep to his lane and collided with the oncoming Sino truck.
He added that the impact caused the Benz light truck to further collide with the Toyota Wish.
