4 successfully file for Kalwanyembe ward by-election in Mumbwa

Four candidates have successfully filed in for the Kalwanyembe ward by-election in Mumbwa district, set for November 19 2024.

These are, CHEBO MULOWA of United Party for National Development UPND,

FREDDIE MUKE of the Socialist Party,

HELLEN MUNUNKA of Leadership Movement and Independent candidate Daniel NKONDE,

And ECZ Commissioner NDIYOYI MUTITI is happy with the peaceful nomination process and has urged the political parties to adhere to the electoral code of conduct during campaigns.

Ms MUTITI said this shortly after the nomination centre was closed at exactly 15hrs.

The KALWANYEMBE seat fell vacant after the death of UPND Councillor LANDSON SANGWAPO on September 30th 2024
