5 Socialist Party Officials resign

Five Sociality Party District and Constituency Officials in Central Province, have resigned from the party with immediate effect.

Those that have resigned are Kabwe District Chairperson JOSHUA KUNDA, Kabwe District Vice Chairperson REXINA DAKA and Kabwe District Chairlady FOSTA MALATA.

Others are Kabwe Central Constituency Chairperson EDRICK SIMBEYE, and Bwacha Constituency Chairperson CHINTU CHILUMBA.

According to the resignation letter availed to ZNBC News , addressed to Socialist Party Provincial Chairperson, the five said they have resigned due to personal reasons.

They have thanked the Socialist Party for the opportunity to serve in the various roles.

But, when contacted for a comment Socialist Party National Youth KELVIN KAUNDA said the resignation of its members is not surprising as other opposition political parties have also had people resigning and defecting to the ruling Party.
