“Judges are not above Scrutiny”
By Wilson Mulinda
Former Vice President NEVERS MUMBA says the suspension of the three Constitutional court judges by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is a message that no one is exempted from scrutiny if there is suspicion of wrong doing.
Dr. MUMBA says President HICHILEMA has the responsibility to suspend any judge if there is overwhelming and verified evidence against them.
He told ZNBC News that Zambians for now should wait for relevant authorities to establish if the judges were right or wrong.
Dr. MUMBA has also emphasized that this is not the time to judge the judges because they may have done anything wrong, and it is necessary to wait for the process to conclude.
