Nakacinda arrested

Former Water Development Minister RAPHAEL NAKACINDA has been arrested for alleged offence of Seditious Practices.

Police Spokesperson, RAE HAMOONGA says Mr NAKACINDA allegedly uttered seditious words that were widely circulated in a video on social media.

Mr HAMOONGA says this action was allegedly meant to incite resistance either active or Passive or disobedience to any law or administration thereof.

He told ZNBC News that this was on September 26, 2024,

Mr. NAKACINDA has since been detained in police custody awaiting fulfilment of police bond conditions.
