Loss of miners due to illegal activities is unacceptable-HH

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says the loss of miners due to illegal mining activities is unacceptable and must NOT continue.

And President HICHILEMA has urged investors attending the Mining Insaka to consider partnering with small-scale miners by buying some of their minerals as a way to combat illegal mining.

Speaking at the Mining Insaka , President HICHILEMA said big mining companies should creating opportunities for small-scale miners.

The President said government has issued more than 500 small-scale mining licenses to ensure citizens engage in mining activities legally.

He said Government discourages illegal mining due to safety concerns.
