“Kambwili making steady progress”

Government has disclosed that former Information Minister Chishimba KAMBWILI is making steady progress in his recovery from the accident.
Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary THABO KAWANA says Mr. KAMBWILI continues to stabilize as he receives treatment at Maina Soko medical center in Lusaka.
He was speaking when he and Chingola MP CHIPOKA MULENGA visited the house of mourning for Mr. Kambwili’s brothers in Chingola.
Mr. KAWANA said President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA and First Lady MUTINTA HICHILEMA are mourning with the family.
And Mr. MULENGA says the death of the two KAMBWILI brothers is a loss to the community at large.
Meanwhile, family representative Benson CHULUMANDA said burial of the two brothers has been set for tomorrow Sunday, October 20 at Chingola Cemetery.
Rev. MUTALE KAMBWILI and MWAMBA KAMBWILI died last Tuesday after an accident on the Luwingu -Kasama road.
