Mufulira-Mokambo road Concession Agreement to be signed next week

The Concession Agreement for the rehabilitation of the Mufulira-Mokambo road on the Copperbelt will be signed next week.

The agreement will include the development of the Mokambo Border Post.

Infrastructure Development Minister, CHARLES MILUPI says the project will be undertaken through the Public Private Partnership- PPP- financing model.

The Minister disclosed this when he officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony of the 61 Kilometer Ndola – Mufulira Road and the modernization of Sakanya border post in the Province.

And Copperbelt Province Minister, ELISHA MATAMBO said the actualization of improved road network and infrastructure in the province is commendable.

Meanwhile, the Contractor Jaswin Ports limited Director SOON CHIN YANG says the company is committed to ensuring that the projects are of quality standard.
