Honour freedom fighters- Nalumango

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has called on Zambians to be proud of their origin and honour the strength and resilience of freedom fighters.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says the legacy of the forefathers must live in every Zambian as they embrace the future.

She says independence must remind everyone to recognize and appreciate the One Zambia One nation Motto because it promotes unity and love among citizens.

Mrs. NALUMANGO said this in a speech read on her behalf by Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister JACK MWIIMBU during the hoisting of the national flag to commemorate Zambia’s 60th independence anniversary at the Showgrounds in Lusaka.

Meanwhile, Hoisting of the National Flag Organizing Committee Chairperson Colonel LIKANDO MUYUNDA thanked all guests that sacrificed their time in the night to attend the event, as it shows their love for the country.
