Tender Document for Awarding of Safari Hunting Concessions not official

The Ministry of Tourism has dismissed a document circulating purporting to be a Tender Document for Awarding of Safari Hunting Concessions.

Ministry of Tourism Public Relations Officer NATALI MASHIKOLO says the advert is not official and must not be relied upon.

Ms. MASHIKOLO says the document has been prematurely shared as it was a discussion document internally for Management to review.

In a statement issued to ZNBC news, Ms. MASHIKOLO said management is taking disciplinary measures to ensure that such conduct amongst its staff does not happen again.

Ms. MASHIKOLO said the Ministry sends its apologies for any inconvenience this could have caused to the business community in the conservation and hunting industry as well as the General Public.
