Chitalu Chilufya to continue to work with the Government
Mansa Central Patriotic Front Member of Parliament CHITALU CHILUFYA says he will continue to work with the Government to serve the people.
Dr CHILUFYA says there is a need for the country to collectively pursue sustainable development, peace and unity.
He says the notion that an opposition MP cannot engage with the President in the line of duty is incorrect.
Dr CHILUFYA has defended his decision to accept the invitation to accompany the President to the Zambia Sugar Jubilee celebrations saying the move was the right and proper thing for him to do to support the President in developing the country.
In a statement to ZNBC news, Dr CHILUFYA said the launch of the expanded outgrower scheme for sugarcane will enhance local participation in the growth of the Zambian economy.
Dr CHILUFYA said this kind of investment must be supported by all because it creates both corporate and individual wealth which Zambians desire.
He has dismissed assertions that he has defected to the ruling UPND as dangerous propaganda.
