K4m to be spent on Mwata Kazembe’s palace
About 4 million Kwacha has been allocated towards the construction of Mwata Kazembe’s palace in Mwansabombwe District in Luapula Province.
The works which started in June 2024 are almost at roof level.
Mwansabombwe Council Chairperson, TERRIOH CHUNGU says the structure will have the main house, a conference room and two chief retainers houses.
Mr. CHUNGU says the development signifies government’s commitment to improving the living standards of chiefs.
