Zambians assured of improved election integrity soon

The Electoral Reforms Technical Committee – ERTC- has assured Zambians that it will work on recommendations which will reduce reports of electoral malpractices.
ERTC Chairperson RABBSON CHONGO says the consultative process which the committee has been holding across the country is aimed at incorporating what Zambians want to see in the electoral process.
Speaking when he opened the five day National Consultative Meeting in Lusaka this morning, Mr. CHONGO said the wishes of the people will be reflected in the recommendations as the process is inclusive.
And United for Better Zambia President HECTOR SONDO urged the ERTC to decentralize its consultative meetings to districts.
The Electoral Reforms Technical Committee is sitting at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.
This follows Provincial Consultative Meetings which were held in all 10 Provinces from October 7 to 30, 2024.
