HH commends Botswana for seamless power transition

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has commended Botswana for the seamless transition of power.

President HICHILEMA says Zambia is always in support of peaceful transitions and it should be a norm in all countries holding elections.

President HICHILEMA said this in an interview with ZNBC News shortly after witnessing the inauguration of President DUMA BOKO   in Botswana  .

He said it is important for public officers to respect the decision made by citizens through a constitutional Democratic process.

President HICHILEMA has congratulated President BOKO.

He also praised outgoing President MOKGWEETSI MASISI for offering his support to President BOKO as he takes up his Presidential tenure.
