Former ZNBC DG Mupeso dies

Former ZNBC Director General EDDIE MUPESO has died.

Mr. MUPESO, 81 died today at CFB Medical Centre after an illness.

Family Representative GILBERT MABINGO and the deceased’s daughter confirmed the death of Mr. MUPESO.

Mr. MABINGO said that the funeral gathering is at Number 10 Dambo Close off Machinchi Road in Olympia Lusaka.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated later.

And ZNBC Management and Staff have expressed shock and regret on the death of Mr MUPESO.

ZNBC has since conveyed its condolences to the family of Mr MUPESO.

Mr. MUPESO served as ZNBC Director General from 2001 to 2004, and later from 2010 to 2011.

According to a ZNBC Corporate Affairs Statement, Mr MUPESO will be remembered as a visionary leader, seasoned broadcaster, and mentor who left a lasting impact on the corporation.
