Grant impressed by local players

Chipolopolo Coach, AVRAM GRANT says his players showed character in their quest to book a place at the 2025 AFCON.
Speaking during the post match interview after beating Ivory Coast one nil last evening, GRANT said despite being hit by injuries, the performance was exceptional.
GRANT is happy that some local players have utilised the opportunity they were given after being called to the national team.
And Ivory Coast Coach, EMERSE FAE says he is disappointed with the result which has pushed them to second in Group G.
The Ivorian coach said his team lost the game because they were poor technically in the game.
FAE said most of his players under performed, therefore failing to get a win.
Zambia has now moved to the top of the table on 10 points while Ivory Coast has moved to second with nine points.
Sierra Leone is third while Chad is bottom of Group G.
