Nalumango expected in China for Internet Conference

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO is on tomorrow expected in Hangzhou, China to attend the World Internet Conference at the invitation of the Chinese Government.
Zambia’s Deputy Ambassador to China ALFRED SILILO says the Vice President is expected to address the conference and later hold bilateral talks with the government of the people’s Republic of China.
Speaking to ZNBC News in Hangzhou, China, Mr SILILO said about 60 countries across the world are expected to attend the conference.
Through the conference, think-tanks from around the world will come together to generate insights, reports and proposals aimed at fostering an open, inclusive and prosperous cyberspace that will benefit all.
The conference will also focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the digital world and will seek to find solutions to various digital challenges among others.
The 2024 internet conference is being held under the theme “embracing a people centered and Artificial Intelligence for good digital future – building a community with a shared future in cyberspace”.
