The Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- is currently investigating over 500 corruption cases involving both businesspersons and politicians.
Acting ACC Director General MONICA MWANSA says the cases under investigation were reported to the commission through various ways.
Ms. MWANSA has told ZNBC News that the fight against corruption has improved due to political will in combating the scourge.
She is optimistic that the fight against corruption will be enhanced following the launch of the “National Policy on Anti Corruption”.
Ms. MWANSA said government and other law enforcement agencies have since embarked on a countrywide dissemination of the policy.
