Mwape wins Mr Kabwata 2024

Bodybuilder DAVID MWAPE has been crowned the winner of the 2024 Mr. Kabwata competition.

MWAPE, famously known as Beast Zambia, triumphed over the 2023 Mr. Kabwata champion, ENOCK CHANDA, and eight other contestants to claim this year’s title.

The competition featured three categories namely the Men’s Physique, Women’s Bikini, and the Men’s Open Bodybuilding.

In the Women’s Bikini category, ROSEMARY MWAPE out-performed her two competitors to become the 2024 Women’s Bikini Category Champion.

Meanwhile, ISAAC MWALE won two awards, being crowned the winner of the Men’s Physique category and the Chairman’s Coach Award.

And Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Acting President FREDERICK SIMUNGUZYE also announced that  the 2024 Mr. Zambia competition is scheduled to take place on December 27 at the Government Complex in Lusaka.

Meanwhile, Kabwata Community Gym Chairman, ANDROS KUMWENDA says body building is not just a sport but a lifestyle and a testament of human body and mind.

KUMWENDA has encouraged athletes to consider themselves as winners simply by stepping on the stage.
