President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says dialogue is crucial for resolving national issues.
President HICHILEMA says without dialogue, there is a high risk of miscommunication and conflict, which ultimately delays progress.
President HICHILEMA says open communication and cooperation is vital in creating meaningful change particularly on complex issues such as the health sector and economic policies.
Speaking during a meeting with a group of Civil Society Organizations at State House, President HICHILEMA said Government has implemented an open door policy to encourage stakeholder involvement in discussions, ensuring that solutions are both comprehensive and practical.
The President said his administration cannot afford to make decisions in isolation or in silence.
Meanwhile, Non-Governmental Gender Organizations’ Coordinating Council -NGOCC-Executive Director ANNIE ANAMELA expressed appreciation for the Government’s efforts in promoting dialogue in the country.
Ms. ANAMELA also acknowledged the measures the government has introduced to tackle cybercrime.
She however urged the Government to consider addressing potential negative impacts associated with the cybersecurity and cybercrime laws.
