Nkandu calls for Investment in the arts

The Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Arts has called for investment in the arts.

Youth, Sports, and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU says art is not just a reflection of society but a powerful force that shapes society.

Speaking during the 2024 Ngoma Awards ceremony, in Lusaka last night, Mr. NKANDU expressed appreciation for artists who have elevated the music industry.

He has affirmed the ministry’s commitment to creating an environment where all young people have access to resources, platforms, and opportunities to succeed.

The Minister has highlighted his office’s ongoing support for initiatives that nurture talent, promote artistic exchange, and protect intellectual property.

He also extended his gratitude to the sponsors who made the event a success and honored the arts pioneers who broke barriers to pave the way for today’s achievements.
