VP luncheon raises K4m for World Skills Africa

The World Skills Africa 2025 Vice President’s luncheon has raised over four million Kwacha for the organisation of the competition.
Zambia won the bid to host the competition, which will be held in Livingstone.
Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has assured of government’s support for the initiative by ensuring that the Zambian team is well prepared to compete at the highest level.
She was speaking during the 2025 World Skills Africa Fundraising luncheon in Lusaka today.
Mrs. NALUMANGO noted the importance of skills development for the country’s economic development.
And Technology and Science Minister FELIX MUTATI said the introduction of the Constituency Development Fund to support skills development has lowered the barrier of access to skills.
