Kawambwa residents demand roads and infrastructure

Some residents of Kawambwa say they want a Member of Parliament who will effectively represent the interest of the people.
The residents told ZNBC News in Kawambwa that a good representative in Parliament will have to focus on improving the road network in the district.
WILLIAM MULENGA, a resident of Kawambwa says the district needs someone to help improve the livelihood of the people by putting up more infrastructures to attract investment.
YOMBWE MOFYA says Kawambwa central needs a parliamentarian who will be able to attend to the challenges facing the people.
Mr. MOFYA has also described the campaigns for the Kawambwa parliamentary by-election as peaceful.
Five political parties are participating in the Kawambwa parliamentary by-election slated for December 20.
They include New Congress Party Candidate Danstan Mwansa, United Party for National Development’s Nason Musonda, Socialist Party’s Kennedy Kapambwe , UPPZ Kennedy Chomba and Peter Bwalya of Movement for Change and Equity.
Kawamba is home to a number of tourist attractions with the most iconic being the Lumangwe waterfall
