Political parties campaign in peace in Kawambwa

Political parties participating in the Kawambwa Parliamentary by-election in Luapula Province have described the campaigns as peaceful.
The United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ), the Tonse Alliance, and the Socialist Party have stated that their campaigns have so far been free of incidents.
UPPZ leader Charles Chanda told ZNBC News that every party is working hard to promote their candidate in the election.
Tonse Alliance Campaign Manager Anthony Kasandwe and Socialist Party Deputy General Secretary for Administration Maximo Sikonde also noted that the campaign environment has remained peaceful.
Meanwhile, UPND campaign team members Peter Kapala and Mike Mposha echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing that the campaigns for the Kawambwa parliamentary seat have been conducted in a peaceful manner.
