Met. downgrades cyclone Chido to a low-pressure system

The Zambia Meteorological Department -ZMD- says Tropical Cyclone Chido has been downgraded to a low-pressure system.

According to the latest weather update released by the Met. Department,  the Tropical Cyclone Chido which has been downgraded to a low-pressure system is currently over Southern Malawi.

The satellite pictures shared by Met showed rapid developing of clouds, lighting, thunder and with the possibility of thundershowers in Southern Malawi

By press time some areas over Southern Malawi were experiencing rainfall.
