Mweetwa mourns Pastor Chiluba
The government has expressed deep sorrow and sadness over the death of Central African Media Network (CAMNET) Television Chairman and founder, Pastor Moses Chiluba, who passed away last night.
Chief Government Spokesperson, Cornelius Mweetwa, says that through Camnet TV, Pastor Chiluba played an important role in the growth of the country’s media industry and the journalism profession.
Mr. Mweetwa says Pastor Chiluba, who also served as Senior Pastor at the Healing Word Ministries, was an ardent advocate of professionalism in the media, anchored on truth, honesty, and impartiality.
He says the loss of such an influential figure leaves a deep void, not only in the religious and media circles but also in the hearts of those he helped and inspired throughout his life.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by Mr. Mweetwa.
