ZSIC Life appoints new MD

ZSIC Life has appointed Collins Hamusonde as its new Managing Director, effective January 2nd, 2025.

Mr. Hamusonde was, until his appointment, CEO of ABSA Life, a subsidiary of Absa Bank Zambia.

He is also the past Board Chairperson for the Saturnia Regna Pension Fund and serves as Vice President of the Insurers Association of Zambia Board.

Announcing the appointment, ZSIC Life Board Chairman, Morris Mulomba, encouraged the institution’s members of staff to support the new CEO in achieving the company’s vision.

In a statement to ZNBC News, ZSIC Life Public Relations Manager, Nabwalya Vlahakis, said Mr. Hamusonde’s career has seen him work in various roles within the sales and operations environment, giving him wide experience in customer acquisition.
