Chinese Investment Creates 10,000 Jobs in Copperbelt Mining”

Copperbelt Minister Elisha Matambo says the Copperbelt province has seen an increase in Chinese investment in the mining sector.

Mr. Matambo says the Copperbelt has so far seen about ten thousand jobs created in the mining sector from Chinese investment.

Speaking during the Rongxing Mining Company event in Kitwe to honour its employees in 2024, Mr. Matambo called for all the mining companies on the Copperbelt to give decent wages to the workers.

Meanwhile, Kalulushi District Commissioner Kelly Jibinga has thanked Rongxing Mining Company for its contribution to Kalulushi District.
