Justice Evans Hamaundu to Deliver Farewell Judgment in Live Broadcast

The Judiciary says it will hold a special court session in honour of Supreme Court Judge Evans Hamaundu, who is retiring.
The special court session will be broadcast live tomorrow on ZNBC TV 1 and other media houses.
Judiciary Deputy Director of Corporate Communications, Kalumba Slavin, has told ZNBC News in a statement that the event marks the culmination of Justice Hamaundu’s illustrious career spanning over three decades.
During the session, Justice Hamaundu will deliver a judgment as part of his farewell proceedings.
Born in 1960 in Ndola on the Copperbelt, Justice Hamaundu graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia in 1983 and was admitted to the Bar in 1984.
Reflecting on his remarkable service, Chief Justice Mumba Malila has described Justice Hamaundu as a jurist of unmatched dedication and professionalism.
