ZICB Funds New Classroom Block at Nakabu Combined School

Nangoma Member of Parliament, Collins Nzovu, has commissioned a block of three classrooms at Nakabu Combined School.

The classroom block has been constructed at a cost of 800,500 kwacha, financed by the Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB).

Speaking at the commissioning, Mr. Nzovu thanked the bank for coming up with an initiative that will empower learners at the school.

Meanwhile, District Education Standard Officer, Davy Chilembo, said the school population has increased from 300 to 900 since the introduction of the free education policy.

ZICB Chief Financial Officer, Louis Kabula, said the gesture was aimed at fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility.
