Wedson Nyirenda: CHAN Draw is Fair

Chipolopolo Coach Wedson Nyirenda has described the draws in the group stages of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) as fair.

Nyirenda told ZNBC News that the group stage of the competition will be interesting.

He said from the draws made, this year’s edition of the CHAN tournament will be very competitive.

Nyirenda said that every team in Group A brings something special to the tournament, adding that the group will be the one to watch.

And FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga said Zambia is not intimidated by the names of opponents in Group A.

Draws conducted last evening in Nairobi saw the Chipolopolo drawn alongside two-time CHAN winners Morocco and the Democratic Republic of Congo, while hosts Kenya and Angola completed the group setup.
