Court issues warrant for PF’s EMMANUEL MWAMBA

Lusaka Magistrate, AMY MASOJA has issued a bench warrant against Patriotic Front information and publicity Chairperson EMMANUEL MWAMBA for non appearance before court.

This is in a matter where Mr. MWAMBA and three others are jointly charged with one count of disorderly Conduct at the Police Station.

Mr. MWAMBA’s co-accused are JACQUELINE CHOPA, 49, GIDEON TOLOPA 42, and GIFT KACHINGWE 32, all businesspersons.

It is alleged that MWAMBA, CHOPA, TOLOPA and KACHINGWE on February 27, 2023, jointly and whilst acting together conducted themselves in a disorderly manner at Kabwata police station.

When the matter came up for continuation of trial, Mr. MWAMBA was not before court while one of his sureties informed the court that the accused was still out in the United States of America.

He said Mr. MWAMBA will only return to Zambia on March 4, 2025.

Magistrate MASOJA has however set February 26, for return of bench warrant and ordered that Mr. MWAMBA appears before to court.
