EMMANUEL MWAMBA in second bench warrant

Another Bench Warrant has been issued against Patriotic Front- PF- Faction Chairperson for Information and Publicity EMMANUEL MWAMBA by the Lusaka Magistrates Court.

This is in a matter where he is charged with assaulting a police officer.

Mr. MWAMBA was yesterday slapped with a bench by LUSAKA Resident Magistrate AMY MASOJA in a matter where he is charged with disorderly conduct at a police station.

LUSAKA Resident Magistrate, TREVOR KASANDA has issued another bench warrant against Mr. MWAMBA for non -court appearance in the matter.

Mr. MWAMBA has not been available for court trial on grounds that he is reportedly in AMERICA.

He faces arrest unless he is arraigned in court on February 25, 2025, the retainable date of the bench warrant.

Last Month, Mr. MWAMBA told ZNBC News in a phone interview that he is scheduled to return to Zambia on February 3, 2025.

This follows concerns that he was in the United States of America -USA- seeking asylum.

But Mr. MWAMBA refuted the reports that he is in the USA to seek asylum as he was invited to attend two Conferences as well as attend President DONALD TRUMP’s inauguration.
