Nursing Council, SolidarMed Launch E-Learning Framework for Healthcare Workers

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia and SolidarMed have launched an e-learning framework for nursing and midwifery education.

The framework has been developed to enhance skills among health workers, especially in rural areas.

This will be achieved through digital learning that responds to dynamic diseases and illnesses.

Speaking during the launch in Lusaka, Nurses Council Board Vice Chairperson Bob Sakahilu said the framework will provide flexibility for students to access materials and enrich the learning experience with hands-on practice.

SolidarMed Country Director Kupela Clark said the launch is essential to bridging the technological knowledge gap and creating improved, decent employment opportunities across the country.
