European Union Ambassador to Zambia and COMESA, Karolina Stasiak, has praised Zambia for making progress in the fight against corruption over the past three years.
Ms. Stasiak says the country’s improved ranking in the Corruption Perception Index signals a growing trust in public institutions and an increasing commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability.
The EU Ambassador to Zambia was speaking during the closing ceremony of the EU “Twinning Project Peer-to-Peer Institutional Support to the Anti-Corruption Commission in Zambia.”
ACC Acting Director General Monica Mwansa said the twinning project has played a crucial role in modernizing the commission’s investigation techniques.
Mrs. Mwansa said that through specialized training, investigators have acquired skills in digital forensics and areas that will enhance the fight against corruption.
