NWP Deputy PS Warns Headteachers Over Poor Exam Results
By Lupindula Mwewa
North-Western Province Deputy Permanent Secretary, Luckson Mulumbi, has warned school headteachers against poor results in the 2025 examinations.
The concern comes after the North-Western Province was ranked 9th in the Grade 12 and Grade 9 results of the 2024 examinations for the second consecutive year.
Speaking during a joint Examination Review meeting in Solwezi, Mr. Mulumbi said the government will formulate ways of punishing headteachers who underperform in this year’s examinations.
Meanwhile, North-Western Province Education Officer, Fredrick Munkini, says it is unacceptable that the region continues to record poor results.
