Zambia Eyes Advanced Turkish Technology for Infrastructure and Drone Development
The government says it is interested in benefiting from the advanced technology that Turkey offers.
Transport and Logistics Minister, Frank Tayali, says this includes the development of infrastructure and drone technology that can help in the monitoring of road and rail transport.
Mr. Tayali said this when new Turkish Ambassador to Zambia, Huseyin Dicle, paid a courtesy call on him.
He said the Ministry sees the importance of collaboration and would like to see more investors coming to partner in the transport and logistics sector.
Mr. Dicle said his country is ready to support Zambia in building institutional capacity that would help bring about industrial development.
He noted that Zambia offers varied opportunities for Turkish investment among them agriculture, tourism, and the transport and logistics sectors.
He pledged to see how best he could work with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to bring about positive change while in Zambia.
